Nita + Brooks l Savannah Rapids l Augusta, GA

weddings

November 11, 2015

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing the wedding of Nita and Brooks at the Savannah Rapids in Augusta, GA. WOW. This was my first Indian wedding and as such I didn’t really know what to expect. I spent a lot of time before the wedding day reading up and watching videos so that I would have a better idea of what to expect. But seriously guys, nothing could have prepared me. This was such an incredible wedding. It was a day rich in color, tradition and most importantly love. The day started with the Baraat (the grooms dance procession). This was followed by the guests entering the ballroom and the start of the ceremony. Following the ceremony there was a rose petal blessing where all the guests had the opportunity to shower the newly married couple with love and well wishes. Then of course the reception!

Nita + Brooks..I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness. You are two of the most genuine and kind people and it was such a privilege to be a part of your wedding day.

xo,

D

Hi, Dailey! I just discovered your website and have spent the last several hours shamelessly scrolling through your blog posts. Your work is amazing! Unfortunately, the pictures in this post and a couple others aren’t loading for me. I’m not sure if it’s because they are older posts or if it’s something wrong on my end. I am especially interested in seeing your pictures from this post since my fiance is Indian, and we will be having a Christian-Hindu fusion wedding. I would love it if you could email me so that I could see the pictures from this post. Thanks!
