Chris + Rachel got married at the beautiful Willcox in the heart of downtown Aiken, SC. What a beautiful and emotional day it was! The day started out with Rachel and her Mom working on Rachels makeup. There was an epic pandora station with some great oldies and a peace about the room that just drew you in to the sanctity of this union. After Rachel got her dress on, she had a first look with her father and bridesmaids. And a “first moment” with her soon-to-be husband that had the whole room in tears. Chris opted to say a prayer over their union and let me tell you….if you thought you could observe this with a dry eye….well, lets just say: jokes on you. The rest of the day flowed with such peace and beauty. When two people truly find each other it takes your breath away. It still amazes me that something as beautiful, and often times fragile, as love can win out in this crazy world.
Congratulations Chris + Rachel. From the very bottom of my heart I am wishing you two a lifetime of love, health and happiness. Bearing witness to your love story was such a privilege.
