Ali + Hadleys day was steeped in sweet southern love and tradition. (They even made some new traditions of their own, how cool are they?!)
The two met over Thanksgiving and hit it off immediately. Over the next year the two stayed in constant contact until Ali was able to move to South Carolina to be with Hadley. From there on, the two of them moved to Ohio and then on to Florida! Whew! Hadley proposed to Ali over her families annual scalloping trip in Florida. Of course she said yes!
They decided to tie the knot the day before Thanksgiving since all of their family would be together. They got married on their families farm and boy was it special! A few of my favorite moments from the day include: the two branding a sign with their wedding day coordinates on it, almost missing the exchange of rings during the ceremony, Ali and her father performing a rap dance during the father/daughter, Ali “icing” Hadley during the garter removal and the fact that all of their friends and family were actually staying on the property with them..it really made the day extra special.
