Feeling all kinds of happy looking back at this beautiful day as I prepare this blog post. The first moment I met Cory and Rachel I knew I would be obsessed with their wedding day. The more time I spent with them (from photographing engagement and bridal portraits to planning) the more impatient I grew for their wedding day to get here!!
They had an ‘enchanted garden’ vision for their day. Hankal Events helped to bring their vision to life in the most spectacular inspired way. The day was sincerely magical. It started calm and slow with the girls getting ready. But as we went into their first look the anticipation and the romance began to grow quickly. By the time Cory watched his bride walk down the aisle I was holding back tears. The air was filled with peace, calm, and pure romance.
As soon as they were announced husband and wife the atmosphere shifted in the most magical way! The lights went down on their enchanted garden. The incandescent glow of the candles swaddled all the onlookers in warmth and romance. The night turned into the grandest party celebrating the newlyweds.
Being a wedding photographer allows me to look in on some really beautiful moments in life. I have the privilege of visiting beautiful venues like Pine Knoll Farms and working with incredible minds like Hankal Events. But most notably – I get to witness and document real life love stories. Romance and love that surpasses all odds. That survives despite the world we live in. Every day I’m amazed at the magic that lives amongst us. Documenting these love stories — allowing them to take their place in history. Stories for future generations to cherish and experience. It’s the gift of a lifetime to witness these stories and play a small role in sealing their place in history. I’ll never stop being in awe of this incredible gift. I’m forever grateful for the incredible couples that have allowed me to third wheel and document some of their magic.
