Matt & Abigail. Oh, how I absolutely adore these two precious human beings and their sweet love story! Matt & Abigail were both student athletes living just down the hall from each other at the University of South Carolina when they first met. After a semester (and obviously becoming fast friends!) Abigail’s parents moved to Matt’s hometown (Aiken, SC I’m lookin’ at you)! Coincidence? I think NOT!
After the move to Aiken they went on their first date. And in Abigails words, “I was taken on the most magical, longest, best first date of my life. He simply stole my heart from the beginning, and the rest is history!” (Matt later proposed on the 18th hole of the Harbor Town golf course in Hilton Head. Can you say romantic?!).
Their wedding day was full of all the same magic that their love story was built on. The day just seemed to sparkle for them. A crisp November day in South Carolina that was filled to the very brim with love and joy. The sun went down and the autumnal chill in the air only seemed to add to the magic of their day –candles were lit and everyone snuggled (and danced) a little bit closer. Cheers to happily ever after love birds!! xo
